Life is an improvisation

The first music any human makes is improvisation: infants sing wordlessly as they explore their voices, move their bodies spontaneously to music, and band on anything that makes a sound. Growing up in a musical household, I had many things I could bang on--and parents who encouraged and guided the banging.
